Here are some facts about Military Trials:
Military trials are called “court-martials” and the juries are composed of military personnel, including enlisted and officers, referred to as members. There are three types of military crimes: summary court-martial, where one officer serves as Judge and Jury with the maximum confinement time being 30 days; special court-martial, the military equivalent of a civilian misdemeanor with the maximum confinement time being 6 months; and general court-martial, the military equivalent of a civilian felony court with unlimited punishment. There are also hosts of non-judicial procedures known as Non-judicial punishment (NJP) in the Navy and Marine Corps and Article 15 in the Army and Air Force. These non-judicial procedures also include administrative separations for misconduct, medical issues and sexual orientation.
Mr. Wallin is a former member of the United States Coast Guard and can defend your California military case.
